Reopen the restaurant in the excavations of Pompeii

The restaurant, managed by the company Autogrill SpA, has returned to occupy the premises facing the "House of Bacchus", north of the Civil Forum. It is estimated that the activity of the refreshment point lead into the coffers of the Archaeological Superintendence of Pompeii, Naples and about 34,500 euros a month, for a total of nearly $ 2.5 million in six years.

According to the Deputy Commissioner for the archaeological area of Naples and Pompeii, Marcello Flowers, "the degradation and abuse, as evidenced by this story, can and must be defeated. " The opening of the restaurant has been an objective qualification of the site wanted to own the management commissioner.
