Awards for best thesis and dissertations in the areas of enhancement, promotion and management of the South Pole of Excellence Museali
November 15th, 2009 | by Joseph C. | Invitalia, the National Agency for inward investment promotion and enterprise development, in agreement with the Ministry of Heritage and Culture, and the Department for Development and economic cohesion of the Ministry of Economic Development, has 4 banned an award for best thesis on issues of development, promotion and management of the museum centers of excellence in the South.
The contest will award 4 prizes to the best thesis of old and new system (specialist / master), a post-graduate or second level master's and doctoral research.
The Project "museum centers of excellence in the South," in which you enter the contest, founded with the goal of promoting and enhancing the excellent museums in the South such as levers for local development and aims to identify for each regional museums and archaeological areas, intrinsic value, reputation and unique cultural heritage, can stand to play a major role in cultural tourism attractors.
The regions involved in this project are: Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily.
The notice, downloadable on the site Mumex.it Activities section> Mumex Prize, states:
"The competition aims to promote and reward innovative solutions and proposals aimed at:
- enhance the ability of the individual Museums of delivering value to local institutions, the scientific community and the public (residents, tourists and visitors) by improving the quality of the model offered and promoting the degree of integration in the territory.
- identify the most effective form of "governance" perspective to improve the functionality of the museum system and the coordination of "stakeholders" involved.
[...] The question of participation in the competition, together with supporting documents, must be sent by registered mail with return receipt to the following address: National Agency for inward investment promotion and enterprise development SpA, Via Calabria 46, 00187 Rome. The envelope containing the application form and attachments must be marked "Awards to the best thesis and dissertations in the areas of enhancement, promotion and management of the museum centers of excellence in the South."
The shipment of the package must be made no later than January 31, 2010, for the thesis discussed within 31 December 2009.
