Museums in Music: November 28, 2009
November 22nd, 2009 | by Joseph C. |Saturday, November 28, from 20 hours to 24 hours, more than 90 events of music and dance animate 30 cultural sites of Rome, including museums, exhibition halls, universities and academies, as well as places of cultural interest in Frosinone, Latina, Rieti and Viterbo. This is the event of culture and entertainment Museums Music sponsored by the City of Rome in collaboration with the Ministry of Heritage and Culture with the organization of Zètema Culture Project.
The museums involved also remain open to visitors free of charge until 24.00.
Museums Music events are all free admission and involve different musical genres, from classical to light music, from pop to jazz, from blues to hip-hop to electronica. Do not miss exciting flamenco and contemporary dance.
Even major foreign institutions, such as the Academies of France, Romania and Belgium, will participate in the prestigious event by opening their homes with musical performances.
Among the main events in the Capitol remind the concert of the renowned pianist Danilo Rea at the Capitoline Museums, and the concert of music by Astor Piazzolla in Protomoteca Hall with Martin Lawrence Weber at Macri violin and the piano. The Exhibition Hall will host a concert unprecedented FOR CALDER duo Enrico Rava / Gianluca Petrella. A jam session of jazz musicians will be held at the FORMER COLLEGE ROMAN CHURCH SANTA MARTA in show JAZZ JAM IN SANTA MARTA. The star of the evening Henry Olivanti Trio.

Museums Music pays special attention to the work of young artists.
In this regard we recall, among the many participating institutions, the Academy of Santa Cecilia, the Opera House, La Sapienza University of Rome and the University of Roma Tre, whose musical sections youth will perform in various locations in the city.
