SUNDAYS ARCHAEOLOGICAL PISTOIESE A GREENHOUSE
There are 5 Sundays devoted to medieval and food organized by the Secretariat of Paesano Serra Pistoiese sponsored by the City of Marlborough.

The scenario is the Pieve di Pistoia Furfalo and Serra, a medieval village perched on a coast of the Pistoia Apennine to 850m above sea level. Around the country opens the beautiful High Valdinievole, with its forests of chestnut, its streams, the undergrowth is rich in fungi and fauna characteristic of the area. And in the woods you can see the ruins of the Parish of Furlalo will be open to the archaeologist Valentina Tagliavia during the 5 events scheduled. For each of the appointments are associated with increased cooking time. In the buffet end of the excursion will be tasted food and culinary preparations made from authentic recipes vintage reconstructed through examination of historical sources and characteristics of ancient cultures and social classes, each inspired by characters or particular moments in history that will be illustrated and described during the tasting.

15.00 hour guided walk through the village of Serra
