The Ancient Theatre and Masks, Naples to MANN

Following the Naples Theatre Festival Italy, the Special Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage of Naples and Pompeii and the Campania Region, Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, presented to the general public, the exhibition "The Ancient Theatre and Masks", held at The National Archaeological Museum of Naples.

The exhibition is divided into four sections: the origins of theater, the Roman theater and its genres, folk theater and theatrical venues in Campania. The exhibition aims to guide visitors to the knowledge of the ancient theater, thanks mainly to the presentation of numerous materials - especially Roman - in the collections of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.

From June 25 to August 31, 2009
Time: From 9 to 19.30. Closed Tuesdays
